WHAT IS THE PTO?
People often ask (or may be too shy to ask) "What is the PTO" or "How can PTO's really make a difference?". The answer is quite simple. A Parent-Teacher Organization is a group of parents and teachers who work together to support the school and it's students. This can be done in many ways. PTO's can fundraise for enrichment programs, teacher appreciation or school activities. They can run school activities that would be impossible to have without volunteers and extra help. Essentially, at the heart of the organization, the PTO reflects on the needs of the school, their children and community and asks..."How can we help?"
- Family Guides: The family guides can help parents and caretakes find valuable tips for helping their child succeed in key learning areas
- Parent Guides: The parent guides provide clear, consistent expectations for what students should be learning at each grade level in order to be prepared for college and career
